For the release of Alexander Wang’s SS17 collection, we wanted to continue the brand’s disruptive legacy. Toying with society’s obsession with social media, we created both real and fabricated narratives in order to blur the lines between reality and fantasy, generating speculation about what actually took place.

The campaign shows the designer partying with his model crew - Binx, Lexi, Anna, etc. - from getting ready to hailing a cab the morning after. What's not certain is who else was there.

In Inez and Vinoodh's photographs, it seems like Snoop Dog, Kim Kardashian West, Rihanna, Lil Yachty and Drake are dancing the night away with the rest of the Wang Squad - but what you're seeing isn't the real thing - they're celebrity imposters. We even found a lookalike of the designer himself.
